Motivation, Perseverance, Desire.
A Necessity?
Baseball, basketball, football,
Better, faster, stronger.
All pointless.
Athletic, charismatic,
pathetic,
What Matters?
Who cares?
So what?
To succeed, to win.
To lose, to be rejected.
What will you need in the clutch?
Me or we?
Heart,
soul,
confidence.
Without these you are nobody
To become legendary,
Or just ordinary.
Dare to go where no man’s gone.
Dare to exceed the boundaries we have set.
Leap.
If you fall you will be caught.
Without wanting,
there would be no achieving.
Without believing,
there would be no succeeding.
Big or small,
without heart
You are nothing
