Darkness

Most people say they aren’t frightened, but they are,
It lurks behind corners
The flick of a switch and you can obtain it
And disintegrate it just as fast.

It takes away the path,
And I search blindly making my way through doors and obstacles

Just trying to find someway to get rid of it.

It follows me around!
I turn around and its there!
I start to run

I finger for the switch
I flip it and it has gone.
